This is an old abandoned building in Athens, with lovely decoration around and between the windows.
It’s such a shame that there used to be so many buildings like this in Athens, most of which are now demolished. The worst part is that very few of the remaining ones are preserved or renovated, the vast majority are completely abandoned and left in ruins, like this one. Such a big part of our city’s architecture could be lost in a few decades.
back before my town got cleaned up and it was difficult to get in to the abandoned water power plant by the river. my friend and i just went through a smashed out window.
